1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on the User’s device (computer, smartphone, tablet) while browsing our website.
They allow us to recognize the user’s browser and make it easier to use the site — for example, by remembering preferences (language, cart contents, login data).

Cookies are widely used and do not negatively affect the functioning of the device. They usually contain: the domain name they originate from, their storage duration, and a unique identifier.

2. What types of cookies do we use?

On our website TEAZEN.pl, we use both session cookies and persistent cookies:

  • Session cookies – active only until the browser session ends (they are automatically deleted after closing the browser).

  • Persistent cookies – remain on the device for a defined period or until deleted by the User.

Based on their function, cookies are divided into the following categories:

a) Necessary cookies

Enable the proper functioning of the Store (e.g., login, cart management, checkout process, security features).
They cannot be disabled via the consent panel because they are essential for the site to operate.

b) Functional cookies

Remember user preferences (language, layout, preferred display options).
They improve the overall user experience.

c) Analytical and performance cookies

Help us understand how Users interact with our website (e.g., which pages they visit, how long the session lasts).
We use Google Analytics (Google LLC) for this purpose — the tool may collect anonymized statistical data (IP addresses are masked).
These cookies help us improve the structure and content of the Store.

d) Marketing cookies

Enable the display of ads tailored to the User’s interests (e.g., via Meta Pixel, Google Ads) and help measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
These cookies are only active after consent is given in the Usercentrics banner.

3. Why do we use cookies?

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • ensuring the proper functioning of the website and purchasing process (session, cart, payments),

  • adjusting the content and layout to the user’s preferences,

  • analyzing Store traffic and creating anonymous visit statistics,

  • enabling social media functionalities (e.g., “Like” buttons, Instagram widget),

  • marketing and remarketing (e.g., showing TEAZEN ads outside our website).

We do not use cookies for automated decision-making that produces legal effects for Users.

  • reject all optional cookies,

You may also manage cookies directly through your browser — for example, delete stored files or block third-party cookies.
However, disabling necessary cookies may make certain functions (e.g., cart, login) difficult or impossible to use.

Some information collected through cookies (e.g., IP address, device identifiers) may constitute personal data.
In such cases, we follow the rules described in the TEAZEN.pl Privacy Policy, which explains the legal basis, purposes, retention periods, and Users’ rights (GDPR).

Cookies may also be stored by third parties working with us, including in particular:

  • Wix.com Ltd. – store and hosting provider,

  • Usercentrics A/S – consent management platform (CMP),

  • Google LLC – Google Analytics and Google Ads services (with IP anonymization),

  • Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. – social plugins and Meta Pixel (ads/remarketing),

  • Fondy – secure online payment gateway,

  • other social media services (e.g., Instagram).

All these entities operate in compliance with GDPR and use legally valid data transfer mechanisms (e.g., EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses).

This Policy may be updated periodically, e.g., due to new analytical or advertising tools or changes in applicable law.
